Hi there! My name is Tim Stocker and I’m an avid hobbyist and lover of all things related to technology. I created this blog to showcase all the fun projects I work on in my limited free time.

I have an Mechanical Engineering degree and have worked in the renewable energy industry for over 15 years, mostly in engineering or product management roles working for inverter and battery OEM’s. I installed the solar and battery backup system on my house in 2017 and have never looked back. I have a wonderful wife and four kids who are the inspiration for most, if not all, of my projects. I also play banjo, ukulele and guitar!

I also consult on the side doing designs and builds for specialty projects that involve custom hardware/software solution, typically for children’s museums or interactive exhibits.

I’m also currently working on completing my life goal of moving to Hawai’i 🤙🏼
